“Hide and Seek” with Laurenţiu Dimişcă

In the framework of the brotherhood with Piatra-Neamţ, Riorges receives the Romanian painter Laurenţiu Dimişcă at the castle from Beaulieu. Through his rich in colors works, the artist suggests “a diary in which everybody can find something”. It’s about acrylic colors, big and small formats. You can find there portraits, characters in whom you must search carefully to discover new faces and something from the artist himself. In fact he considers that his art has reached the maturity and now it’s time for self-portraits, as Rembrandt and Van Gogh did in their epoch. On canvas the artist expressed exacerbated love but also troubles. The paintings shows an inner struggle of the feelings. He says: “Through every gesture I want to express a secret, mine or of the person near me…My paintings express love, bring optimism”

This artist is not at the end of his searches, because he prepares a doctorate regarding the raw art, having as subject: Art or Insanity, in the Belle Arte School from Cluj-Napoca. At Beaulieu he exhibits also painted objects, a new trend in art.
